Being announced as a finalist in this year’s Romance Writers of Australia Sweet Treats Anthology still catches me with surprise. It such an honor to be published beside the other seventeen amazing authors.
My story The Honeybee Cafe will eventually become a book in my Australian series set in ‘Painting Point’ a small fishing village in far East Gippsland Australia.
The main character Joe is still grieving the death of his wife and unborn daughter. A stranger comes to town and wants to reopen the cafe he’d closed after Evie’s death.
The cafe isn’t the only thing Flick open’s she also opens Joe’s heart.
There is even the recipe for ‘Honey Joy’s’ at the end.
