I’m 64 and I married my high school boyfriend and this year we will rack up 44 years of marriage. We have been together for 48 years we dated for nearly 4 years before we got married.
We have 3 adult children 2 girls and a boy. They are all married and all except one live within 20 minutes of home. The other lives a comfortable 4-hour drive away in the city.
We have been graced with 6 delicious grand babies, three boys and three girls.
Over 20 years ago we shifted our family to a little seaside village, 40 minutes out of town. We have never regretted it.
Being able to walk along the lakeside or the beach is calming to the soul. For now, I am content working my few days a week. Using my downtime to cuddle grandbabies as often as possible. To write and sew pretty dresses with pockets (every dress should have pockets).
